The needs in terms of microfluidics are varied: high speed video, tracking, velocity measures, dimensional analysis… R&D Vision has just delivered a complete system for analysing fluorescence in real-time in microchannels.
The solution includes an inverted Zeiss microscope, a high speed monochrome camera, a high sensitivity colour camera and a potentiostat.
A specific software interface has been developed based on HIRIS. It controls all the equipment and is useful for automating the acquisitions depending on the voltage cycles applied by the potentiostat. An analysis of fluorescence in the channels with graphic output was also implemented to offer a complete, upgradeable and entirely automated solution.
