Looking at UPR Champagne’s white grapes from all angles

The objective UPR Champagne gave R&D Vision for its 2019 harvests was twofold: seeing to understand and, above all, seeing to spot defects and identify the unwanted items in the crates of grapes picked from the Côte des Blancs area in the Champagne wine region.

R&D Vision designed and installed an optical scanner for the existing line to identify unwanted items: pliers, leaves, mildew, etc.
