R&D Vision has developed a visualisation bench to classify injector sprays for cars and trucks. The bench includes a pulsed lighting source ranging from a few Hz up to 100kHz with pulse durations under 10ns and a very high beam quality (M2<1.7). A Phantom V710 camera is used to take photos and is synchronised with the lighting via an EG trigger box.
An opto-mechanical unit has been designed and optimised to easily adjust settings and to be able to incorporate other optical diagnostic tests.
All of the components are housed in two aesthetic and easy-to-use tailor-made racks with various storage units.
All components are controlled through a tailor-made graphic interface built on HIRIS, making it easier to use equipment and complete measurement campaigns.
